Garden Affairs Brochures
During my time at Garden Affairs I was responsible for all of our print materials. This meant making changes to existing brochures when necessary and I also had the chance to create two new brochures from scratch. More details on each project are below.
In the summer of 2023, Garden Affairs launched a new product, a Garden Living Annexe range (two products), this meant a new brochure needed to be made. I made the brochure from scratch using Adobe InDesign, I created a brochure in the tête-bêche style, this means that half the brochure is technically speaking upside down. The two halves meet in the middle, where the centre spread runs vertically as it applies to both products/halves of the brochure.
I also learnt how to use Adobe Illustrator to create the two 3D drawings above. The other existing Garden Affairs brochures had drawings like these in too, so I created the new ones to match the same technique and style.
Log Cabins are one of the standard products Garden Affairs offers, however we didn't have a brochure of our own, we were using brochures sent to us by our Manufacturers, so I was asked to make one. The Log Cabin brochure followed the same format as the existing set of brochures. I also had to create some new drawings as part of this process, two new building illustrations as well as a new set of door and window options which were created using Illustrator.
As part of the Garden Living Annexe product launch, our new showsite building had a bathroom installed, this meant I needed to create a set of pages displaying the various bathroom options.
These were existing print material when I joined Garden Affairs, I was responsible for making changes to these when necessary and arranging more print runs when required.
